Honestly, I’m not poking fun at these people, nor am I poking fun at people with serious mental illnesses. What I really don’t get is the ridiculous face people seem to associate with attractiveness. It’s the “I really couldn’t care less” appearance mixed with “cool” that just doesn’t seem to gel.
Here’s one that accurately mixes both expressions well (IMHO)
See what I did there … he doesn’t care … because he is dead. Also, he is pretty cool … because he’s dead.
There are just so many examples of the stupid vapid poo-or-cry look in advertising. And it’s not just the boys!
could be captioned … “my puppy just died”.
